About Face

When we trace the history of visual arts, we can observe lots of artists have given more attention for the human face as their themes. The concepts of modern and contemporary artists' works are highly concentrated with face and its expressions.

To me, the Face is not just an identification of a person; it is a story of her and his background environment. It is an untold story of a person, a group or a situation of its culture and society. My attempt catches those characters through the FACE. I try to visualize those isolated and hopeful peoples' expressions through the paintings.

When I do art work, I approach in different ways with different techniques using variety of mediums. I construct the basic forms with geometrical shapes with bolt lines and through that I try to see the different perceptions in major forms. It evokes emotions of the face through geometrical forms and various colours and textures.
