About Maya Sage

“Maya passionately expresses her search for self in her work... she moves from unsettled watery depths, into a struggle through the fiery passions to gracefully unfold a subtle, lyrical warmth. The water has cleared and the blue sky and water are one.”

About Dean Compton

“I was first struck by the struggle between innocence and worldliness that I saw in Dean work. He is a self-taught artist and Ifeel his work is very honest and fresh. I was amazed by the pull his paintings had for me. Each time I looked at them I just wanted to be in them. I stillfeel this way about his work. I love that he isn’t stuck in any preconceived idea of what each piece should be. He is willing to risk everything when he sits and begins serenading his canvas.”

About Sanjib Rana

“Sanjib Rana was born in Kathmandu and has lived here since. My first glimpse of Sanjib’s work was at Lill Coyne s’ house. He had done a piece of work from a children ‘sfairytale on the wall of a cubby-space, and I thought, “Wow! I wish I could paint like that!” Sanjib is also a selftaught artist of yet undiscovered depth. He painted a most exquisite mural on the front of our house---a jungle scene---which has since inspired others to commission work in their homes. I am sure his will be a most exciting journey.
